WHY ALL4ONE?
In our experience working with entrepreneurs we have learnt that while many organisations exist to help start new businesses, very little assistance is available for providing assistance focused on sustainability.
All4One targets social entrepreneurs who provide for themselves and others in an informal, but meaningful manner.
By the nature of this informal structure, many small businesses are doing what they do “the hard way” duplicating effort and in many cases working against the objective of sustainability. Local initiatives to support potential entrepreneurs tend to focus on driving the development of micro enterprises, few of which move beyond the subsistence level.
There is:
- Limited access to capital, training and mentoring
- Few real local entrepreneurial role models
- Lack of trust for institutional assistance
The biggest challenge faced is unemployment. Government empowerment initiatives designed to drive broader economic participation have tended to redistribute existing resources rather than create new sources. All4One seeks to support initiatives that work towards social upliftment and sustainability.
All4One supports entrepreneurs by providing them access to expertise and other networks.
